James,
I was just speaking
what I had on my mind. I haven’t been disappointed and I haven’t
lost out on flights or accommodation based on previously scheduled meetings. Meetings
did move but that wasn’t a problem at the time.
Sponsorship? Emmm,
perhaps J I’d be delighted to help organise stuff –
Ronan is aware of my networking events in
All in good
spirit James – I’m sure you’ll be as diplomatic as our good
friend Dan A. in Voda J
Cheers and let
me know when you’re up for an Indian ;)
Paul

News for
Paul,
I wasn't aware of any previous scheduled meetings. My apologies if you
were disappointed in the past.
I've taken the initiative to organise this with Ronan - I would suggest,
as individuals. We've also drafted in Amy from dotMobi to help us
organise the room and so on.
MoMoDublin is certainly not intended to be dotMobi's own marketing
event, if that's what you fear. No more than MoMoLondon is a vehicle for
Vodafone because they hosted the first event and happen to employ one of
the organisers!
My company is going to shout the drinks and food this first time. But
dotMobi is a global MoMo sponsor, so that seems fair enough. (Segala is
very welcome to sponsor a future event. And you - as an individual of
course - are welcome to help us with the organisation :-) )
As mere individuals in a small industry, we will be totally accountable.
Although I should probably add that dotMobi - as a reputable Irish
company in the same industry - would have been just as much so.
Best regards,
James

James,
I'm quite familiar with how
they're organised by individuals. Yet
company (please correct me if I'm wrong). We've seen previous dates move
as a result of mTLD's priorities changing. This is perfectly
understandable but a little worrying for me as I fear events will be
postponed after I've booked flights and hotel accommodation and changed
my schedule around etc.
What are your thoughts about this? Will Momodublin be organised by
individuals that are held accountable?
Thanks
Paul
