As this is going to be informal, how about a novelty item? I propose a “retro evening”, in which we all bring along the oldest, most ugly, most unwieldy-looking mobile phone/pda/device and we can start a Pythonesque competition along the lines of “you had it bad?!, hah!, in my day a mobile phone came with a rotary dial and a hand-crank for the battery charger…”

No prizes, but I think there should be a declaration of a winner by popular vote.
