RE: [momodublin] Mobile Monday Dublin in May

Hi James,

Who are the organisers? I’ve offered my support/help in organising these events but haven’t heard back. I’ve got some experience running networking events and feel I have something to offer. The Momolondon as you know, is coordinate by a number of people – it makes life easier for the organiser(s) as well as adding more ideas to the table…

Cheers

Paul

Subject: [momodublin] Mobile Monday Dublin in May

Hi all,

After a cosy start last week, I think we should start thinking about our
next event, in May. Discussion required!

Firstly, the date. 14th May looks possible.

Secondly, a topic. I think it's important to start introducing a theme
to the evenings. A) it mixes up the topic of conversation. B) it
encourages new members to attend.

It would be an obvious step to encourage a debate about the role of the
mobile operator: walled gardens etc etc - especially for the Irish
market. But if anyone else has any other suggestions or requests, let
the list know.

A "demo night" is another thing we need to have sometime.

Thirdly, venue. How did our choice suit? I think we could comfortably
fit another 10 or so, but if we start to grow quickly, we'll need to
think again.

Don't forget that the mailing list is a bi-directional medium :-) so if
you have any opinions about the event, shout.

And if you have any questions, comments, or rants for the rest of the
group (about anything mobile-like) - go ahead!

Thanks,
James

Yes, Paul, your efforts would be appreciated. I replied immediately when you offered, so I don't know why you didn't get that response. Forwarded again...

Hey James, Thanks for taking me up on my offer. Firstly though, I think it's important to have some 'organisers' that are not employed by .mobi. I'm not...
