Any of you that have been following (with interest) the changes made to
the Vodafone UK mobile web access this week [1] and discussed at length
on MoMoLondon's list [2], will be interested to note the article below.

In fact one of our speakers at the June event will be Kieran Mahon of
Vodafone Ireland, so it will be good to hear his perspective on their
strategy.

(By the way, more details on the June 18th event - including, for
example, location :-) - to follow, hopefully today. But assume it's
6.30pm onwards in central Dublin...)

08.06.2007 - Vodafone Ireland has confirmed that it is planning to
unveil a new handset-based service that gives a proper internet browsing
experience on sites such as Google and eBay using new rendering
technology in the coming months.

The Vodafone Mobile Internet service was launched this week to more than
10 million mobile users in the UK.

A spokesperson for the company's Irish operations said that the service
is planned for a local launch in the coming months.
