Rhythm & Timing workshop with Angus

Sunday 21st October
4-6pm at Olivants Cafe/Bar, Exmouth
£7.50 per person* (inc. coffee/tea)

A must for both serious Salsa dancers & newcomers, & all Latin music lovers; this session will totally transform how you listen & dance to Salsa music. Angus will delight in passing on his wealth of Salsa music knowledge in his inimitable & totally enthusiastic style! Including how to listen for the first beat in each bar of music - 'the 1'; the importance of certain instruments used in Salsa music; & he'll show you how to start your dancing with confidence & style. Also covered will be a brief history of Salsa, party & class etiquette & a chance to ask all those questions you may have wanted to ask in class, but haven't quite got around to!!
The workshop itself will last for 90mins, including a brief coffee break; & will leave 30 minutes practise time after, again giving another opportunity for us to sortout any Salsa-related problems you may be experiencing! For more info click here

*Please book your place in advance, if possible, to help us with catering!
