A Great Big THANK YOU to all those attending the last Moose Night.
Everyone I spoke to thought it was a Great Venue! Plenty of space to
dance, terrific views out of the panoramic windows overlooking the
Famous Exeter Chiefs Rugby Pitch ( I know one person at least who went
down onto the grass and had a little dance on her own there....)Smokers
could just sit outside on the terrace enjoying the view, but not
totally divorced from the party. Access to the M5 was a moment away,
and it was a joy to park outside and not worry about meters or being
locked out.
I confess it was a gamble - the cost to hire this venue was never an
issue - but to cancel a Moose Night was unthinkable.I knew it was a 1st
Class place, and the staff could not have been more welcoming
( although they didn't know quite what to expect as it was the first
time they had seen anything like this!)

The floor was laminate and it was not until it polished up with dancing
did it begin to behave. The room itself was tricky to set up, but in
the end people simply sorted themselves out and it was fine.

Kernow for more details, and as Promoter I delegate this task to my
DJ's with their talents and skills to keep the floor alive and filled.
Guest DJ Franco is undoubtedly very talented and out on his own - and
you can see more from him on 12th July in Exeter at Kallendar Hall.
The most popular question was "When are we coming here again?" which I
think says it all for most people. However, for the moment at least,
Moose Hall is the home of Moose Salsa, and we shall return there for
July 26th Dance Night. BUT ...... I am toying with the idea of using
this most excellent venue for the Salsa Summer Salstice Party next
year.... Watch this space!
In all, I think everyone seemed to enjoy the occasion, and I look
forward to seeing you all again at the next event.
