Event Location: Cheriton Bishop Village Hall Notes: Organised by Rodney Rushton to celebrate the New Year with an afternoon Salsa Matinee
Hello all you Moose Salsa friends - as Francis has announced I will be
taking over from her from January 28th 2006.
I plan to continue the good work started by Frances, no doubt from time
to time she will be able to visit us and I wish her well up there in
Scotland.
For those who may not be able to put a name to a face, I have been
around the Salsa Scene in the South West as a dancer for several
years , and recently organised a great trip to Prague for 14 people.
Another new project is Sunday Afternoon Salsa, starting with a pilot
event on Sunday 8th January 2006 at the Village Hall, Cheriton Bishop,
just down the A30 from Exeter.
It remains for me to thank Frances for all her hard work, and wish you
all a Happy New Year!
Rodney Rushton
Direct e-mail = rodney.rushton@...
Thank you for all you have done for salsa in the south west. I had not realised you had been in Scotland for the last 7 months. I was in Scotland for 9 years (at college in Dundee for 4 years and working in Argyll for 5 years). I really enjoyed it and was very sad to leave. I still have many friends up there, both east coast and west, and often think of the wonderful times I had in the hills!
As a lot of you know, I have been running the Moose Salsa nights from Scotland for the last 7 months, and as you can imagine, this isn't the easiest of things to do. However, I have finally managed to let go of my baby and am passing it over to Rodney who will be taking over from me from now on.
I hope you will all continue to be as supportive to him as you have been to me and I am in no doubt that he will put loads of new ideas and enthusiasm into the night. You have all been brilliant, and I will miss you all. Rodney has promised to give me free entry for life so here's hoping I will actually be able to come along in the not too distant future and actually have a dance!
If you need to contact Rodney, for the time being he will be on his address that is listed on the members page, and will also be taking over the moose email - moose_salsa@....

what we have to offer. Thank you for your time. I look forward to your
call . Ian

If you haven't already tried Chacha yet you don't know what you are
missing! I went to 1 class & was completely hooked. In MY opinion it
is
easier than Salsa, esp. for the guys as there seems to be more time
to
think,& for the ladies more time to show off!!!!But if you think
that
means it's a bit slow - think again!
Trust me - you'll love it(& you'll never dance slow salsa to 'Oye
Como
Va' again)!!
Take care
Sonja
