The committee propose that a new rule is inserted as 3o. This
new rule will read:
Minor changes to the wording of proposals can be made at an AGM
with the approval of at least 80% of the voting members present.
Rationale: Postal voting is considered desirable for the greater
involvement of all members in the decision-making process.
However, sometimes discussion at the AGM results in a desire to
make minor changes to the proposal. If this flexibility does not
exist it is generally another year before the proposal can be
resubmitted and reconsidered.
