We propose that a new rule be inserted as 1e and subsequent
rules are renumbered accordingly. The new rule will read:

No two members of the same family or household may hold
concurrent committee posts.

Proposed by Ed Reay, seconded by Su Mitchell.

Committee comment: Whilst we appreciate the principle behind the
proposal, the committee feel that it would not be practical as
it would potentially exclude some competent and dedicated
volunteers.

NB If this proposal is passed we will lose both present and
proposed committee members.
