The Electoral Roll is no longer that easily avaliable, trust me I need to
get peoples names and addresses all the time at work & I'm not allowed to
have a copy any more & I work for the Council chasing people for public
money!

You can opt out of being on a publishable Electoral Roll now anyway under
Data Prot Legislation, they have recently done a National Electoral Audit,
you may have had a form through the post, and you tick the box to say that
you do not want your details avaliable to the public. Simple :)
