I Had An Inkling, Serfs, Kunt and the Gang, Dragging An Ox Through W   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #46 of 71 |
A busy week ahead, with the last gigs of the year for us (well needed
break after that, well sort of...).

First, in case you read this in time, a reminder for tonight:
I HAD AN INKLING + SERFS + DENNEHY IS EVERYTHING
Thu 23rd Nov at Henry's, 8pm, £5 / £4 for mailing-list members +
friends

I had An Inkling (Leeds) play an aggressive math-rock/post-punk-prog
melange and hook-laden, agit-pop. Serfs are 2-guitar improv from down
South, have played with the likes of Chris Corsano and more...
Check them out at http://www.myspace.com/ihadaninkling and
http://www.myspace.com/www.myspace.com/serfserfserfs plus
http://www.myspace.com/dennehyiseverything

Tue 28th Nov at Henry's, 8pm, £5 / £4 for mailing-list members
KUNT AND THE GANG + ARSE 2 MOUTH + SCHRODINGER'S BEARD
Still miss Special Love? Well, you won't after that night... Take the
spirit of Special Love but even more outrageous, even more
entertaining, and generally better (you still reading this, exiled
Special Love member?)

Bit of a rush and can't remember the others' pages, but they can all
be found on Henry's Cellar top friends at
http://www.myspace.com/henrysvenue

Kunt and the Gang are also playing at Bloc in Glasgow the following
night (Wed 29th), it's free entry (donations very welcome though!),
and they just got squeezed in at the last minute on an existing bill,
so they'll be on in the middle, about 10pm, between The Martial Arts
and The Vivians. If you're around Glasgow, you need to go to that, and
help spread the word please...

Finally, Thu 30th Nov back at Henry's, 8pm, £$
DRAGGING AN OX THROUGH WATER + EAGLEOWL + LES ENFANT BASTARD
Dragging An Ox is Brooklyn based Brian Mumford, who plays noisy folk-
pop. "warm and buzzy pop with a great combination of lo-fi finger
picked acoustic guitar, beautiful synth harmonies, and a great melody"
There again, all of those can be found on Henry's top friends at
http://www.myspace.com/henrysvenue
