Friction is reduced and grip gets worse. Never suggested they were not the same thing. A physicist calls it friction and your average car driver calls it grip....

When my Aircon was evacuated & recharged they put in 650 grams or R134a refigerant and 30grams of PAG oil Hope this helps Iveagh (OddBod) ... multi climate...
