Well, I've been making myself a minidisc collection of all the singles I've
bought recently and it's just as good as any of their albums.

This reminds me of a conversation with the only other person to whom I mentioned
MLS who didn't say "eh?!" and it something along the lines of:

Me: So what's your fave MLS song?
Other Person: Song You've Not Heard Of, Another Song You've Not Heard Of and A
Very Obscure Song That You've Definitely Not Heard Of Either.
Me: Uh huh... well, my favourite song is Star Colliding.
Other Person: Uh huh...

;-)

Of those four, I only have Emerald Green, but ones with some of the others
(notably Welcome to be Archipelago which I'm looking forward to if only for its
amusing title!), but it's a great song. Can't wait to hear the rest either. I
might take you up on your JUT offer, thanks!

Kind of a quiet group?! I've been discovering the joys of My Life Story's b-sides, every single seems include at least one otherwise unavailable great song....

I think that most of their B-sides are as good a the A-sides. I think I've listened to my singles far more than their actual albums. My favorite B-sides...

The mornington crescent b-sides are the last few tracks on the re-issued album so I wouln't worry about hunting those down. I don't remember many JUT b-sides -...
