Description
The aim of the forum is to provide a place where anything relating to the current PBEM campaign can be raised.
It will be used to clarify any general problems arising from the campaign, and to notify players of each stage of the campaign, for example when orders are sent out or required to be submitted.
If anyone has any comments relating to the campaign, the rules or the administration of the campaign they should raise them here.
The aim of my current 1813 campaign is to provide good wargames for Jan and me to play. This will also be the object of the PBEM campaign, but done in such a way that the participants also find the campaign to be enjoyable and challenging.
The campaign rules are designed to be simple and easy to learn. For this reason they do not attempt to cover all possibilities. Where the umpire makes a decision not covered by the rules, it will be notified here on the forum.
There is also a blog for the campaign diary. Daily reports will be of a general nature, to avoid giving too much information to the enemy. When a battle is fought I will post a move each day, so that all can keep up with the progress of the battle and understand how the result was reached. The blog can be found at
http://new1813campaignhotmailcouk.blogspot.com/
The wargame rules used to fight battles can be found at
http://napoleonicwargamerules.blogspot.com/
Any comments or suggestions to improve the campaign are welcome
