December Nightmare Xmas Fancy Dress party -20th December


Twas the Nightmare before Christmas and all through the club, not a
creature was stirring not even a … oh fucksticks I can’t think of
anything to rhyme with club…

Oh well it was nice idea…Anyways ….

I hope you’ve all been nice and not naughty cos it’s Xmas Nightmare
time again - so get your bums down to The Old Angel for the Nightmare
Christmas Fancy Dress Party on December 20.

As its Christmas we’ve decided to be extra nice and give you a bit of
a prezzie. We’ve wangled a deal with the pub to have an extra cheap
drinks offer (and we’re hoping to run this in the new year too). If
you pay to get into the clubnight then the bar upstairs (and upstairs
only) will be serving selected cheap drinks from 9pm until 12am.

This months theme is simply ‘fancy dress’, we want to see some
fantastic costumes, silly outfits and festive get ups â€" and we’ve some
on the spot prizes for daring, amusing or just plain ‘wrong’ ensembles!

So lets see you fill those stockings and come out to pull a cracker at
the Nightmare before Xmas where resident DJ’s Gadge Europa, DJ False
and Urban Cannibal will be joined by special guest DJ Psy-tek from
Nottingham’s newest night ‘Collide-o-scope’!

We’ll be bringing you the best in Ebm, Industrial, Electro, Hard Dance
and Alternative among others in over six hours of killer tunes

9pm til 3am (yup that means it works out at about 85p an hour!)

Entry: £5

Music policy: EBM, Electroclash, Powernoise, Hardstyle, Futurepop,
Eighties, Electro, Darkwave & Goth, Hard House & Experimental. (and we
even do requests if you ask nice and we think it’ll work)


Dress policy: Fancy Dress or just the regular dress to impress if you
want to be dull about it…. so Just throw on a little tinsel, and let's
go dancing ho-ho-ho honey!!!

Cheap drinks, great sound and fantastic DJs. The weather may be cool
but the clientele are even cooler… you’d be mad to miss it!

industrialboisâ„¢ upstairs at The Old Angel on Saturday the 20th
December for an extra special Christmas helping of Nightmare â€" Music
for Weirdoes!

(and you can see the incredibly excessive and copious decorations
Hannahs spent ages doing on the downstairs bars!)

Next month we’ll hopefully be opening up a new room at nightmare.
Opening up from 12.30 each night, this new room will be more of a
chill out lounge. This neatly resolves two of the requests we always
get, namely somewhere to sit and for those music requests that might
not be so appropriate for a 2am dancefloor. We can only make this
work, however, with your support â€" and on that note the Nightmare team
would like to sincerely thank you all for making us one of
Nottingham’s greatest nights over the last nine years.
