Branch of the Year 2008 - are you on the list?
Has your branch registered for BSAC's new initiative Branch of the Year? If not, there’s still time for your branch to get on board.
Sponsored by Scubapro - and with five sets of start-up kit for grabs, including regulators, gauges, BCDs, dive computers and cylinders - Branch of the Year aims to reward our top branch in terms of their diving, training and member recruitment.
The award is open to all branches and registering is easy, go to http://www.bsac.org/page/1076/branch-of-the-year-2008.htm and complete the online form.
You will then need to keep a monthly record of your diving diver training and skill development activities up to 31st October 2008.
Its so easy to register and try for, it would be really wonderful if a North Scotland Branch won!
--------------------
Have you also opted in for the BSAC free newsletters? it's very easy to subscribe just go to http://www.bsac.org/page/454/opt-in.htm and fill in the quick and simple form with your details, you will then begin to receive emails on a monthly basis keeping you right up to date with the latest diving news and information.
--------------------
If your branch are doing anything 'interesting' either diving, fund raising, socialising or helping out in the community please could you e-mail me a sentence, paragraph or two about it and if you have any include photos as it would be good if we could let the over populated regions of the UK know that we have fun in North Scotland too, it can go on the regional website but also in BSAC Talk which goes out to all members who subscribe to it - see above.
Hope you are able to enjoy the start of the better weather!
Safe & Happy diving,
Sarah
