Subject: Seasearch far north Moray Firth 29th - 31st Aug

Dear all

I hope you do not mind another email. The following has been arranged by Seasearch northeast Scotland co-ordinator Marion Perutz. Please let her know if you would like to go along on this exciting trip to a less-dived part of Scotland. As ever, as you long as you are a suitably qualified diver, all welcome. Seasearch skills and experience a bonus.

Calum

Seasearch Wick 29th to 31st August

We still have spaces to be filled on a Seasearch to the far northeastern reaches of the Moray Firth, between Wick and Sarclet Head. We will be diving from the comfort of a live-aboard boat, the White Horse, which even has the luxury of  a lift. You will join the expedition at Buckie (E. of Lossiemouth), on the evening of Friday 29th August and we will steam up to Wick over night. We will stay on board on the Saturday night in or nearby Wick harbour and return to Buckie on Sunday afternoon.

Location: Starting from Buckie harbour. You may also be able to join the expedition in Wick on the Saturday morning weather permitting.

Cost: £110 - £160 for the weekend (dependent on numbers). This includes bunk style accommodation but you will need to bring your own food.

Kit required: Full kit and 2 tanks. There is an on board compressor.

If weather prevents us from getting up to the far north we may choose to dive closer to Buckie on the southern reaches of the Moray Firth where there are also some spectacular sites which are usually more sheltered.

Please email myself if you are interested and I will send you a booking form. You will need to send a £50 deposit to secure your place.

I'd be grateful if you could also forward this to members of your clubs. The minimum qualification for Seasearch diving is a ScotSAC or BSAC Sports Diver or PADI Adv Open Water.

Very much hope you can make it,

Marion
