  It took me quite a while to find the page with the SDCs and when I did, the link

off that page mostly lead to the old site which boots you back to the main page of

the new site and a search there will get you exactly nowhere. The course must-know

link from that page links to a completely different document.

  I've tried to find information on what the courses entail and the new BSAC site

does not appear to have any of this information. There is a bit of info to be had

from the instructors' notes, but some of those where corrupt.

I really do not want to go anywhere near BSAC's new site again. The old one was fine,

it had all the information in reasonably logical places.

 

  I would like to sign up for three of the available courses, but I cannot find any

information on two of them, cannot sign up online, the one email address I found

to get more information proved to be non-existant, and the person allegedly in charge

was not aware of it.

I've emailed using the address that an email to BSAC brought me, including the bugs

I found, but have had no reply.

 

  I've run out of ideas on how to find more information, since I don't fancy hunting

people down via telephone (if I can find numbers, I haven't looked) and I'm not

brave/stupid enough to just send off a cheque to the address on the North Scotland

course page and hope for the best.

 

  I know this is not your fault, I just find the obstacles in the way of basic information

to be very frustrating.

 

  The course-selection in itself is fine; As I wrote there are several I'm interested in.

Hi folks,

As SDCO, I have responsibility to advertise and encouratge you to do useful and exciting courses and to spread the word around your club's members.

The region has a programme for many such courses. However, take-up so far this year has been poor. I would like to learn from you as to why this might be the case. Is this due to lack of advertising, problems with the organisation, or the courses aren't the ones that you, and your members, want to do?

Please could you contact me with your feedback on our programme of events?
