"Branch Volunteer of the Year award aims to recognise the significant and invaluable contribution our many volunteers make to both BSAC and branch diving."

Sponsored by Suunto, there is a D6 computer, worth £525, to award to each of our 30 Volunteers of the Year, selected from around the BSAC regions, every region (that has entered someone) will win (as long as they are worthy) so its definately worth entering!

There are still five months to go until the closing date of 30th November, some nominations have been put but there must be more as there are so many of  BSAC's branch members work tirelessly for the benefit of their branch, Club and fellow members and so this is a fantastic opportunity for us all to recognise this contribution.

Please nominate your own ‘unsung hero’. Any branch member can nominate a fellow member and submitting the nomination is easy – simply go to www.bsac.com/volunteer 2009 and complete the online form

I have seen how much so many of you put into the branches in Our Region and it would be a really lovewly gesture to nominate people even better if they were to win!

Safe & happy diving,

Sarah
