These are the SDCs that will not only make you a valuable asset to your branch but potentially save your buddies life or any other diver that comes into trouble.
Saturday 8th March is the Practical Rescue Management (PRM)
SD+
£20 pack price and required as a NON-refundable deposit to secure a place on the course
Take this course and you'd only need 3 theory lectures for DL!
OWI & taken SDC can help instruct
Sunday 9th March is the Oxygen Administon (O2)
OD+ (we will be accepting OD trainees who are due to complete training this year)
£16 pack price and required as a NON-refundable deposit to secure place on the course
TI+ & taken course can help instruct
There will be a few extra pounds to pay on the day but as we'll be using local instructors and run the courses from Dundee instructor expenses will be low.
Both are really fun courses, mainly practical based and only take one day each.
PRM you'll have some theory then go play as casualties and rescue managers in the sea off Broughty Ferry, so basic kit will be needed but you can do this course even with a cold as it's only surface and land work. Be prepared to laugh a lot!
O2 will be inside all day but with a little theory and lots of practice playing with O2 Kits and resuscitation manikins.
These are both really important and fun courses, please make the effort to attend we run the once a year for you. There should be at least 3 local branches joining in so lots of chances to meet new dive buddies and discuss new dive sites.
