Hi all

Thought you may have heard of this new idea which seems to be being
rolled out in some secondary Schools this year.
Some achools are producing a profile sheet for each from or year. On
the sheet is a picture of the pupil beside which is a brief
description of their SEN needs etc. This form is given to all the
teacher who teaach those children at the beginning of the academic
year. This should lessen the time you find yourself explaining your
childs disability at parent/teacher evenings. The dept of Ed is aware
of this new scheme and some of schools who are introducing it this
year.

Specialist schools are more likely to roll out this scheme, as not to
may endanger their Spaecial Status, and the extra grants etc.
