in this way but I am in a
privileged position having access to the club's database as part of
what I
do for the NOC.
I have recently joined the ranks of F1 owners. I found the bike
locked up
in a garage not far from where I live and after several years of
patience
and some negotiation I managed to liberate it. It desperately needs
to get
out with its brothers and to that end I have had a rack made that
should
enable me to attend rallies etc with a bit more kit on board. I know
this
may seem contrary to the spirit of the bike but practicality won out
in the
end. I found a fabricator who could make the rack in stainless
steel. This
he has done as a one off. A chance remark when I picked it up got me
thinking. He said "now we have done one we could make a jig and
produce a
number at a cheaper rate". Hence this mail. I am just gauging the
possible
interest in getting a batch of racks made. Obviously the price will
depend
on the number but if you might be up for it let me know and I will
make some
more enquiries. Attached you will see a couple of photos of the rack
as it
is at the moment. It still needs polishing and the fixings are
temporary
but it seems very sturdy and does not detract too much from the look
of the
bike.

on. The more interest there is the lower the eventual price at the
end of
the day.
