Thanks for the mail via your site,
Compliments of the season to you and yours...
As for your 350....well we are three parts finished
building a K4 and depending on my annual MOT with the
doc for my licence I could end up as an entrant this
season! I which case the bike is available to you.
The rolling chassie is new and complete, and I am part
way thru the first engine build. All the major parts
are out being readied. I haven,t decieided on carbs or
ignition yet. Carbs I have are from a 70s 750 that
have never been used...but may go for Amals.The
ignition may build myself....we will see.
The head is the only part not yet tackled but plan to
have the whole lot ready and running by late
April/early May. Certainly ready for Athea where If I
get me licence is where it will first run in anger!
If I don't get the licence I will bring it over any
way!
We are booked on the IOM ferry for the Manx, so again
it will be there...and with a spare engine (which we
already have but not yet started work on).
Couple of question :-
1 Did you run the 350 on pump or Avgas?
2 What carbs/size did you have?
(I plan to get the head and carbs matched to
32mm...any suggestions ?)
Last but not least are you coming up for the
Superbike show at Ally Pally? If so let me know and we
can meet up an have a natter.
Ho by the way the bikes called 'Garfield' !..don't
ask but will forwar a couple of pic asap.!
