I've had a hectic week, and havent had time to even turn my computer
on, let alone get in and do moderating of this group.

However, everything is now back up to speed (I hope!)

People still seem to be subscribing with 'No Email' selected, and they
have all been changed to 'Special Notices'. I'll be sending a special
notice soon, to actually make the move I said I'd make about two
months ago. I am going to tighten up the list membership to those
people who are actually looking for nude friendly accommodation or

My sincere thanks to the various people who've been posting search and
offer notices lately. I'm really glad to see the activity. I'd also
like to see discussion of how nude share living works in practice for
you. In particular how do you handle non-nude guests? Call ahead and
use a code-word or something? :) Ring the doorbell three times? :)

Hope we're all going to have a tolerable winter (in the north) made
more bearable by having a nude-friendly house! It's time for us to all
be jealous of those of you in the southern hemisphere.

For the next 5 weeks, I have a room available in my condo for a nudist
or nudist couple.  I am just looking to meet new people while the room
is free, and perhaps give people a chance to stay up here (Oktoberfest
is coming soon in October - lots of fun) and explore the area.

It would only be for a night or two at a time, unless something
specific is discussed in advance (e.g. a long trip). I had a nudist
stay here for 3 nights a month ago, and it worked out well.  I am a
genuine nudist just offering a free room for a couple nights to fellow
nudists.

a good cook. Whether you smoke or not is of no matter to me. I don't
criticize anyone for personal habits or choices as long as it is not

problem of my sharing house cleaning duties as I am quite

Hi everyone! We're just about to hit 150 members, which I reckon makes

Unforunately, we're about to hit 10 messages, which definitely doesn't

So, lets sort that out. Obviously, getting a group going means having
something useful going on, but that needs your input.

What I'm going to ask is for everyone who's not posted either a
"Seeking" or "Offer" ad to at least put up one of those ads, or an
introduction of some sort. Something brief, but enough to point out
what sort of place you're after, or have been living in successfully
in the past.

As an aside, I have noticed that some of the members have unusual
details for people who would be looking for share housing. eg: a
married couple in their 40's.. ?? possible I guess, but unlikely. So,
I'm going to start being a bit more ruthless.

First, in two weeks, I'm going to change anyone who has 'web only'
status to 'special notices only'. Then I'll send another message like
this, and lastly if people still want to be members, they'll have to
post at least some kind of introduction or better still a
sharing-related message :)

What I'm asking is for you to all please do your bit to make this work
for all of us.

I got this email from the mod of the group, so I thought I would
post.  I have no idea where I will be when I graduate from The
University of Kansas in May next year with my MS in Higher
Education.  I just know that I have done a lot of legwork and that
the college or university that I'll be working at afterwards
hopefully will be no more than a hour or two from where I would like
to spend a lot of my weekends (you all get the hint here).  Although
I am currently seeing someone right now, no one ever knows what the
future will bring.   So, I thought I would join this and see what

Neat idea! Reminds me of Woodstock etc. Personally I often wander around
starkers at
home, or at the beach for that matter, but I think it would be a bit culture
shock doing the
same with others around though. Taking everything off at the beach is easy. It's
not as if
you actually know anyone there, other than the people you meet there regularly
of course.
Afterwards, you go home and you've got your privacy again.

Sharing with people who wander down to breakfast with nothing on could be a
different
matter. (I'm assuming no sexual implications for the sake of argument)
For example:

Do you have to call in advance if you bring home a clothed (non-nudist) friend?

Would there be problems with peer group pressure? If you only like stripping
down when
it's over 30'C, but your flatmate is the type that rubs themselves down with
snow in winter,
would you feel strange being clothed when it's 20'C?

How would you explain it to your future boy/girlfriend? (of course, they MIGHT
be so
inclined, but what are the odds?)

Somehow I've got more questions than answers, even though I've been doing this
sort of
thing for over 10 years now. Hell, I'm talking like I'm part of a conspiracy,
we're only
talking about not wearing clothes at home. How many people wear a tie at home?
Or shoes
even? Ever seen a clothed dog or cat?

In some ways, our society can be really bizarre.

I'd be really interested to know if anyone has had such experiences... how did
it pan out?
Did it end up like a big brother episode? Or like a John & Yoko interview? Or
did it actually
work? :-)

I'm an Aussie, living in London now for about 6 years. I've had
experience in all sorts of areas, starting in IT, and I'm currently a
carpenter.

I'm straight, but very OK with gay or bi people. Currently I'm single,
and I seem to be working all the hours available.

Hope someone else is thinking along the same lines as me, and wants to
