I've been contacted by a gentleman in Pangbourne, near Reading, who has
a selection of large scale OS maps of Berkshire (mainly the Reading area
and Windsor).

Apparently he acquired a plan chest some time ago and found 123 maps
inside, which date from 1956 - 1971. The set includes maps at 50.688
inches to 1 mile, 25.344 inches to 1 mile, 1:1250 and 1:2500 scales.

He is selling the chest to someone else and wants the maps to go to a
good home - if he can't give them away he said he'd burn them!

If anyone's interested please let me know and I will put you in touch
with him.
