Namaste is a Hindi greeting.
Am currently typing this in a wonderfully air-conditioned Internet
Cafe in Panjim, the capital of Goa in India. The wonders of modern
technology. Went to a Hindi wedding of a friend of ours last week,
which was a very long affair full of ritual, and great fun to be at.
Am now chilling by the beach for a week - can't really believe it's
December! Goa is quite a Christian place so there are lots of shops
here with Christmas trees and Santas in the windows, but the
temperature is in the 30s!
Nice to see that you are all having fun while I'm gone - will be back
online properly soon.
