I have just been officially informed that I may now "scoop" the bit
of news I have been bursting to tell you all since before
Christmas...

The Black Liars are just finishing off the recording of a "solo"
album; tentatively titled "The Black Album".. It'll have about 10 or
12 tracks, including original tunes from Orson and Alvy, some
interesting covers (Robbie Fulks, Johnny Cash and possibly even
Kylie Minogue) and even a tune sung by old Myron himself.... It
features a myriad of instruments and vocal dexterity not seen
onstage, including dobro and mandolin....

It still has to be mixed, then they will be rushing to get it
pressed for the start of the tour...

The boys would like an idea of how many to press initially, and I've
been asked to "test the waters", as it were, so if you or anyone you
know is interested in a copy I've put a little form on

the venues during the tour, but don't quote me on that, I'm not
