Hi

Have been following this site for a while now and thought I'd join
in. My friend and I went to see Otis and the Black Liars at the Glee
Club (Birmingham) in May and thought they were fantastic.

I also had the video for Christmas, but only really watched it
properly after seeing the show (my boyfriend bought it and I think he
wanted it really).

I've always thought Rich Hall was a funny guy anyway, but the day
after seeing him my throat was hurting through laughing so much.
What a great night out!

I'm glad to see so much appreciation of the 'Piano is Like A Woman'
song, as that was probably my personal favourite of the night, mostly
due to Alvy's little contribution about women and double basses both
being big and fat and needing to be slapped.

But the whole Tom Cruise film thing was exceptionally clever too -
he's a great scrabble player, but then he has a crisis of
consonants. Pure class.

Anyway, has anyone got any info on Novalounge and whether they'll be
playing in this country sometime soon, because we'd love to go and
see them. Not that we fancy the pants off them or anything like that!
