Abba Father, we are taught as Christians to pray for our political leaders who
have been appointed directly by you to rule over us for a season. It is with
great humility that I finally humble myself and acknowledge that this is
actually a command from you that we pray for these people in Christian love. I
pray in love for the leaders of the European Union and my own country, the
United Kingdom, that you will love them, bless them and give them wisdom and
knowledge in order for them to perform their difficult roles with grace, truth,
justice and honour. I pray that through this prayer, many leaders will find the
Lord Jesus Christ as their own personal Lord and Saviour of their own free will,
in Jesus' love and name. Amen.
