... Neil, the pond is in the middle of this map http://tinyurl.com/yam7rdk (although I think that when the Google satellite flew over, the pond was drained!).
I take it that when it says you meet in Cumnor you leave town via Cumnor hill (Botley Road way). Where is the meeting point as I can't see a pond on the map?
