Re: [oxford-cycling] RE: Time trials and road races

Hi Tom and others,

We should arrange some rides from Oxford at some point
that people can just turn up for and split into fast/
slow groups or just stick together. I will try out the
Ox City Road Club Sunday runs.

With my friends I often cycle down to The White Horse
Hill or to Brill. There are a lot of choices for
riders, with CTC rides and various racing clubs.

I am thinking about going to the the Belgium event on
April 6th and other events that members have
mentioned, including the charity events, but feel that
I would get left behind on this particular classics
jaunt- unless perhaps I had fifty bottles of energy
drink or maybe enough Leffe would give me a turbo
boost?!

I am not slow by any means, but I haven't raced in
years, and come from a mainly mountain bike cross
country and touring background!

Matt
