Mark Jones won in 21-37, 3 seconds faster than he did on the H10/17W in the
Didcot event last Thursday evening. I am wondering whether it may be possible
to use the new 1.5 mile start to finish distance to soup the course up a bit as
it is not as fast as I would wish. The start might be by the Clearway signs at
the exit from the A4095 and the finish at some spot short of the present finish.
The snag is that the B430 is all Clearway so we would need to find a gateway. I
shall take my course measurer up there soon to see what might be done. If we
can make it faster I think that we should use it more instead of grim courses
such as HCC118. A34 was very quiet and the new surface is lovely. It is the
drag back up the B430 which is the drawback.
