Dave,
But the course on the Mid-Oxon website is out of date. It still the original
April version with the start and ifinsh wider apart. The correct one, as marked
on the road and described correctly in the Course Descriptions part of the
Oxonian website is that which starts a bit further east and finishes a bit
further west as described in my earlier messages. As I said the events list
still has the old course description. If I wake up in time I shall hope to ride
it as a preparation for the Reading event on Sunday morning but I have been
very bogged down all day in London West DC business prior to the AGM on 1
October and do not expect to be much good. It looks as though the wind will be
in the east.

No Dave and no Kevin. Get it right! This is the Oxonian event on H10/18 with the
meeting place at the Standlake Arena and not the HCC140 starting at the other
end. I have just told Kevin and co to look at the Oxonian website but to be very
careful to look at the course described in the "Courses and Meeting Points
section at the top of the events list and not at the former course which is
listed when clicking on the line of the 9 September event itself. The
difgference is that the current course starts just east of the loop into
Hardwick village instead of just west as before and now finishes by the field
gate which is opposite the centre of the easten end of the Hardwick loop. I
marked both points early in May after I revised the course in the light of
comments after it was first used on 29 March.

Hello,
I've almost finished building my first road bike, ( just need decent pedals! )
having
rode mtb's over the last few years, and i'm interested in seeing how i can do on
a time
trial, I realise it's a little late in the season now, but I would like to
practise on the
Eynsham run i see listed on the oxford city road club web site, so if someone
could
describe the start and finish points, I would be very grateful.
Ta, Kevin.
