Take it easy out there folks, even if it's not icy, the roads are still
slippy. No harm in teetering around the corners at walking pace - it'll
give you practice at sprinting out of 'em once you're on the straight n
narrow. I heard of one guy who fell over three times on the way to work on
Wednesday but he's a MTB nutter, so maybe that doesn't count :-)

BTW, the B-roads south of Oxford (round Benson way) are generally ice-free
down to -5 or lower.
