following is the last update of the CISU case history file project.

The number of UFO reports in Italy climbed during January 2005:
134 sightings are known as at Feb 08th, 2005. Meteoric phenomena
have caused most of them (85 sightings), especially in relation to
the massive flap occurred on Jan 31st: the flap has been generated
by a big meteor seen through the Northern and Central Italy.
An interesting event occurred near Alessandria on Jan 31st: two
people observed a white light following the car they were in;
a few times the light changed position relative to the car, and
when that got closer to the car, one of the witnesses reckoned it
was a round "airship" with several light below it. The airship
then went away disappearing behind an hill.

The 2004 grand total rose to 842 reports. The December 2004 total
rose to 32.
