following is the last update of the CISU case history file project.

The number of UFO reports in Italy rose during July 2005:
60 reports are known as at Jul 08th, 2005. Eleven of them are
related to crop circles, and four to pictures of objects unseen
by the photographer. The number of crop circles in 2005 is still
greater than in 2004 (Jan-Jul, data as of Aug 2004): 50 vs 39.
Among the remaining "usual" ufo reports, the most interesting
one is a sort of "comet" seen within two bright lights near
Treviso: the two lights are probably Jupiter and Venus close to
setting, but it's not clear what the "comet" was.
Also, near Rome a black rectangle was visible as a bright light
disappeared after a few seconds.
The 2005 grand total rose to 495 reports. The June total
increased from 54 to 65.
