file project.

The number of UFO reports in Italy declined in January:
only 12 reports are known as at Feb 07th, 2007, compared to
17 in December.
Only one sighting looks somewhat interesting: near Taranto
(southern Italy) two witnesses saw a white object, still,
near two radar antennas of an air force base. The object
then went away at very high speed.

The seasonally adjusted data confirm the decrease (18.3 reports
s.a., compared to 21 in December), although the trend component
is rising. The number of events decreased as well from 25.4 sa
in December to 19.4 in January.

The 2006 grand total rose to 618 reports. The December 2006
total increased from 17 to 24.
