The references that you see on Google are because Google haven't updated their
index yet
and the references will be dead as the old message board is currently
mothballed. We
change to the Yahoo Groups as many people couldn't access the old boards
suddenly and I
couldn't find out why and decided that in view of the cost of the licence for
the old boards
and trying to maintain them through a very touchy internet connection was more
hassle
that it was worth.

I will soon try and copy accross the surname lists to the new Yahoo groups but
am at the
moment trying to sort out the main site. I thought I had fixed the old version
that we had
but at the moment I keep getting blank pages appear and am not sure whether this
is my
internet connection or the site having problems. If anyone else keeps getting
blank pages
can you let me know as it would then confirm that it is the site and I can
scratch my head
again and have a think as to what to do.

With regard to your comment about unwanted emails I think you will find that you
will
receive a copy of all emails to the group either as they are sent or in digest
mode. I will
have a look when I get time to see whether I can alter this but off the top of
my head I
don't think you can. This is probably the same problem you had with previous
Yahoo
groups that you belonged to.

Please remember that parishmouse is run as a hobby site in my spare time and at
the
moment I have limited spare time so things are taking a bit longer to do than I
would like.
