Even though I live in New York City, Marlborough will
always have a unique and magical connotation for me
because of Bob Pelham and Pelham Puppets. I remember,
as a child, seeing Marlborugh, Wiltshire (or just
Marlborough, Wilts) on Pelham Puppets catalogues,
envelopes, boxes, letters, etc., and asking my parents
where it was. Thirty plus years later, the
association is more alive than ever, thanks to the
magic Bob Pelham created there, and shared with the
world. Recently, I even did a search on Google Maps
and saw aerial photos of Marlborough! And all because
of Pelham Puppets.
