Hello everybody
Well considering it's now Autumn it seems very quiet in here. possibly
because the first Sunshine we have had the whole year is happening now.
I just wondered if anyone had found any nice puppets over the summer
or had any surprises?
I managed to find a nice Torchy on a market stall for £30 asking
around it seems there were two twizzles made with differing eyes
painted on and different shaped heads. I am sure mine is the later
version but still a nice find and tied in nicely with a person I was
working with at the time who's father had worked on the orginal Torchy.

I bagged myself a Hank for £150 which in the current market is quite
expensive but a couple of years ago would have been a steal!

I found two Wonky toy puppets that were on display at the open day
which I was pleased with, A boy and girl though they were both naked
except she had a home made hula skirt out of modern wool.

I am waiting to find out about an SS Schoolgirl that I bought recently
but haven't had chance to unpack yet.


SO has anyone else found interesting puppets or items? How about a
couple of 63 Tortoises or a sack of White faced clowns?
