Ah, you were the lucky one! For what can only be described as continuation of
bad luck I
had in the last couple of weeks, my internet connection unexpectedly failed, so
I could not
bid. But there will be other wolves I am sure! Enjoy!
Regading the original question: I have recently stared in a flurry of activity
again after I did
not do much collecting for the last 2 years. I now own about 60 puppets and have
finally
started to restring and clean some of them. My kids now get to an age where they
can
appreciate the puppets, and I am sure many of my more common puppets will end up
in
their hands, and that is just fine with me.
Re: posting on this forum: I really think that Yahoo Groups are terrible. The
forum is hard
to use, the GUI is terrible, and there is lots of advertisement. It just doesn't
work very well.
And with Yahoo in a death spiral, I don't expect this situation to improve...
not that I have
an alternative to offer, but I just think it does make me less likely to bother
answering,
even if I could.
Anyways, I wish you all a happy 2009 and many bargains!
Regards
- Boris
