Hello
I am a new member. I live in Essex. I only have a couple of Pelham puppets, as I
mainly collect dolls, but I love reading about them. I am a writer, I write for
a collectables magazine and also write books about collectables. I was wondering
if anyone could help me to find photos of the puppets linked to Girl Comic; I
believe they were Lettice Leefe & Belle of the Ballet.If anyone has one of these
puppets in their collection, and is willing to photograph it for me to use in my
book, that would be wonderful. I would, of couse, give a name check in the book
to anyone who helped in this way.

I love character/tv related puppets. My favourite has to be Bengo, even though I
realise he is one of the most common, probably because he brings back childhood
memories. I believe Pelham made Mitzi the kitten as well, but I don't know if
they made any other dogs from the Bengo television series.
