This site was started in June 2004 by two North-East England women who both own persian cats. Our names are Cheryl and Val. The reason for establishing the site was that Cheryl's Persian cat "Precious" went missing in May 2004 while she was in hospital.
This has been a valuable learning journey for us which we would like to share with other people whose precious and beloved cat has gone missing for whatever reason.
Hundreds of frustrating hours have been spent identifying who to notify, where to search, placing advertisements, learning about cat behaviour, etc. It is this information that we hope to share with other users of this site with the hope that owners and missing pets can be reunited.
We welcome any suggestions, ideas, new information, photos and anecdotes that we can share with each other.
Val and Cheryl have collected a lot of information over the last few weeks and we hope that you will bear with us while we get our thoughts together and get the site fully operational.
