VMCC Cyclemotor section put on a 25mile run from Long Hanborough Bus
Museum near Oxford last Sunday 17th February. There was a big variety
of machines, the earliest a veteran Truimph(just a big cyclemotor),
and also an early Grigg scooter, which was badly frightened by
anything approaching a hill. There were the usual selection of
cyclemotors, autocycles, and mopeds, and although it was chilly, it
was a bright, clear day. The views across the Oxfordshire countryside
were just super. There were two fallers on a patch of ice, but no real
damage to machines, or riders, and two chaps were seen pedalling the
last couple of miles, one no fuel, and the other no sparks; a great
day out so early in the season. The next run is this 10:30a.m.Sunday
24th February at the Bat, and Ball, Wisborough Green, Sussex, day
membership availlable at £3
