Bicycle derallieur gearchange cable is the right size. Buy
a "universal rear" one as that should be long enough. You need to
file down one end to fit the carb slide, cut ir to length and put a
small nipple on the other end to suit your lever. You should be able
to salvage the lever end nipple from the old cable.
