Its just under a 100 miles in each direction. I cycled it (one-way -
downhill!) some years ago. Its a pleasant meander through beautiful
country on minor roads. There is one short stretch of pure cyclepath
which will have to be avoided.
If you do fancy coming the main thing will be to book accomadation in
Berwick for the Saturday night. We have booked into the Backpackers
Hostel which appears to provide some secure parking and reasonable
rates.
