May I thank you for your response.
I have looked for more data on this cyclemotor and all I can locate is the name
Francis Pelissier. I cant even find any trace of a registration number plate
mounting bracket. The fact that you cant find any trace of this cyclemotor in
Le Grand Dictionnaire perhaps makes it unique.?? I have noticed the VAP 4 is
popular with other moped manufacturers. Do you think the Pelissier needs to be
also listed in the database.??
I will continue to do my own research
on this machine, as I also intend to fully restore it back to its original
glory..I think it deserves that now.

I have checked Le Grand Dictionnaire des Motos Francais and can find no trace
of Pelissier as a manufacturer. I have a strong suspicion that Pelissier was
the original seller of your moped. I can't identify the make but if you could
look to see if there is any trace of any other name anywhere on the frame.
The VAP 4 was a popular motor used by a number of french moped manuafacturers
of the 1950's.
