I wish someone could sort out these misleading ads.Most of them claim
to be legal when we all know they are not.I wonder how long it will be
before someone is hurt or the dealers are sued because of the
misleading adverts?The problem is very few people know the law as it's
been a long time since they were last sold in the UK.Most of the kits
are chinese 80cc engines and they are still being described as
mopeds.They are no more legal than minimotos on the road.It is a shame
that the UK cannot recognise motor assisted bicycles in the same way
as continental europe but the government can only pick EU laws when it
suits(but that's another story).Maybe if they were put over as
environmental?Do you think that would do it?
