                  Forgotten Grave,
                 ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Recent as I walked in Europian
                 cemetery in Srinagar,
As I walked among the silent
                      graves,
           Many silent gaves with their
                      names,
Then I was searching Robert Thorpe,s
                     forgotten grave,
Suddenly, I saw off in a corner,
A hidden grave in a lost corner ,
Quietly,I cleaned the dust and dirt,
And  I feel somehow  presense of hurt,
A little man was British Army  soldier
                     in India,
         Once visited Kashimir and witnessed
             the suffering and sorrow of
                    Kashmiris,
His appeal to British soldiers raised
              enough funds for the medicos,
In 1860 ,However ,he was overwhelmed
by the sorrow and the suffering of
                    helpless Kashmiries,
        Kashmiries under the Maharaja's rule,
       Robert Thorpe wrote many newspapers
             and raised voice of helpless,
Then rulers ordered to leave the country,
        But his braveness refused ,then
             was bound to his bed,
His braveness managed to escape and
wants help to the helpless Kashmiries,
But rulers were so cruels made him die,
Died of poisoning after taking breakfast in
             22 Nov 1868,

As I walked among the silent the graves,
Then I saw  forgotten old stoned grave,
Research of human rights violation so high,
But woun't not buy new stone ,
And cut the weeds that had slowly grown,
Will not they write brave man's grave?
Somehow, it seems ,no one is care,
I will bet he's lonely in that old corner,
Could't some one show he mattered?
If they  had loved him like they said,
Would he be in a corner, lonely and hid,
Here Hazeen appeal to those beleive in
human rights and urge to right of
     self determination for helpless Kashmir,
Then not forget brave Robert Thorpe
who gave up his lfe for the people
               of Kashmir,
