correcting pitch tracking   Message List

Hello,

Apologies for what is probably a question on a rudimentary issue. I've been
asked to check and correct the pitch tracking in Praat. After reading the
manual, blogs and posts to this user group, I've decided the best way to do this
is to:

a) select the sound file and then select 'to Manipulation'
b) check the waveform and where voicing cycles have been missed, add a pulse
mark, and where they've been mistakenly placed, remove the pulse mark.

Is this correct?

Does changing the pulse marks automatically change the pitch contour? Do I need
to manually drag the pitch contour?

I've been advised to save my changes in 'to Manipulation' to a short text file
with the extension PointProcess. Is this all I need to do? How do you view the
new pitch marks with the sound? I would like to do this to check that my
changes are correct.

Thank you for your help.
